Do you find yourself counting down the days, or even hours, until Friday?
If so, I can completely relate. I spent over 10 years working as a chemical engineer and, to be completely honest with you, it was never a good fit. I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life when I finished secondary school, so I based my career choice on job opportunities. I didn’t enjoy studying it or working as an engineer, but I stayed there, feeling trapped by my choice.
I always felt there had to be more to life than just working to pay the bills and waiting until retirement to enjoy it. Despite reading numerous self-development books and attending many courses, I couldn’t find the solution I was looking for. I didn’t have any passions or apparent talents, which made the search even more challenging.
I could not have transformed my situation without the help of my coach to guide me and bring a fresh perspective. With her support, I figured out what I wanted to do and plotted my escape. The process was daunting, but I soon realised that my driving force is helping people improve their lives. Once you find your driving force, you’ll experience a surge of energy that makes you unstoppable.
